I have had these thoughts for many years, I wanted to write them here just to be able to say “I told you so!”
Tarantino is my absolute favorite director, and Kill Bill is my favorite trilogy. I’ve been waiting for volume III since 2009, when during an Italian show he announced that he would be shooting it.
Yes, BB and Nikkia Bell, they will grow and will fight for revenge and blablabla. but beyond the suggestions that have been blurt in our faces, there’s imho something more.
Deadly vipers are not dead. At least not all of them. But first things first:
Sofie Fatal: An arm was cut (and maybe some other limb), but she is not dead. I imagine her coming back with bionic limbs. Common thing in the Tarantino/Rodriguez universe.
O-Ren Ishii: She had a perfect cut of the skull, which left the brain intact. I imagine her coming back with her head partially rebuilt,just like Dr. Gero (Dragonball)
Elle Driver: This is my favorite prediction. She is not dead, she was left without eyes. She will learn to fight like Zatoichi.
Basically, I think (I hope?) some of the deadly vipers will be back in anime/cyberpunk/trashy style.
We will see.
